The issue seems to be with Google and not the local network or doorbell, as it seems to be online (green LED) and doorbell rings the doorbell and sends notifications on the home app.

A reset of the doorbell fixed the issue

Actually the doorbell went offline again.
HOWEVER; it is still recording and putting content in the history. EVEN THOUGH the doorbell is offline to the Home APP.
I have had this happen before with the Nest Floodlight where the camera would go offline and still send video data to the google server!
This issue is ongoing apparently.
