Hi makeitwork12,

Thanks for reaching out to the community! I understand your Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) appears on your 2023 Samsung Frame TV, but it is no longer able to display any screen of the camera as it did before. Now it just tells you that it's unable to show it through SmartThings. I'm here to help!

To find the best solution, I have some questions for you:

  • Have there been any recent changes to your home network (e.g., new router, Wi-Fi password change, network extenders)?
  • Is your Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) online on the Google Home app?
  • Which OS is your TV running?

Please keep me posted.

Sincerely,
Juan

  • Have there been any recent changes to your home network (e.g., new router, Wi-Fi password change, network extenders)?
  • No changes
  • Is your Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) online on the Google Home app?
  • Yes it's online also in SmartThings
  • Which mobile OS are you running?
  • Android or iOS
  • Android but tv is Tizen

So  I used to use SmartThings on my tv and that will show my doorbell but not it sees my doorbell gives me the message, this configuration is not supported

Error (Device layout is not supported) Smart things

Hi makeitwork12,

Thanks for keeping me updated! The "Device layout is not supported" error in SmartThings usually indicates that the TV model is not compatible with the SmartThings app. To resolve this, first verify that your TV is listed as supported in the SmartThings app's device list. If it's not, consider checking for software updates for both your TV and the SmartThings app.

Please let me know the outcome.

Sincerely,
Juan
