I started using the Christmas chime on my nest doorbell, but now that Google has removed the ability to change themes it seems my doorbell is stuck. Is there any way to fix this without doing a factory reset?

Try 2 things.
1.) Turn the chime off and then on.
or
2.) Do a restart (different than a factory reset)

Chime on chime off chime back on does not fix the Christmas chime
how do you do a restart. I have been all over the app and the website

Those didn’t work and neither did a factory rest

I was able to get it fixed by doing a factory reset. I had no luck toggling the chime on and off or by unplugging as a restart

Yes we held the buttons Down for 30 secs. Ran through setting it up, didn’t work. Then held down the buttons for 45, set it back up. The Christmas chime is still there.
We have since turned off the chime just to not hear the Christmas chime

I factory rest my door bell and uninstall it from the nest app. Reinstall the doorbell and the Christmas chime is still there. This is utterly unacceptable

Thank you you for reaching out. The issue still exsists. I have Christmas chimes still happening even after factory resting the doorbell, disconnecting everything, removing the device from the app and reconnecting everything and adding the device back to my app. Still not happy

Would you mind trying to update your Nest App or Google Home App, or both, depending on which you use? Once that is done, I am going to ask you to factory reset your doorbell and make sure to hold down the button for 30 seconds, not the 15 seconds that the article may tell you. Once it has been reset, please let me know.
