Okay after millions of different things I've tried..
I found the settings in the Google wifi to make it work:
Go to Google home app,
Wifi
Settings
Preferred activities
Uncheck both activities.
That's it.
Google needs to fix this...

I am having the same issue. I have reset the camera back to default 3 times. I have Google mesh with great wi fi connection and internet speed. I have a Google hub Max and that cannot connect to the camera either. The camera works and the video is recorded in the history. Help would be appreciated.

Maybe its related to the Google mesh wifi as I got the same setup as you.
Any specific settings required for Google wifi??

I can confirm it is the mesh. I hooked up my Telstra router back up and reset up the door bell. Now get live streaming. It did take a couple of minutes for the video to finally come. Now there is no audio and I cannot reset it back. So I am going to return it.

It's ironic as one of the things I've tried is to prioritise the cam or the doorbell (one only or both) from Google wifi settings, will make both the doorbell and the cam works for live streaming.
I can't prioritise for more than 4 hours and this tells me there is something in the Google wifi settings itself!
