Installed my new nest battery doorbell which I bought direct from google.
The volume at the doorbell is almost inaudible when trying to speak to a visitor.
I see others with the same issue. Is this going to be fixed?

The lack of responses from Google is deafening! Do they not care about Android users that purchased the Nest Doorbell (battery) like myself. This is a MAJOR problem! Where is the update? I guess I must spread the word on Twitter about this issue to warn others. Sad

Nothing has been resolved to my best knowledge. Myself and many other Google battery doorbell owners have this issue that I guess needs some sort of firmware update to improve the sound volume from the homeowner to the visitor which is almost inaudible.

Hey folks,
Restarting and factory resetting your Google Nest camera or doorbell will have different results:
Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.
Factory reset: Erases all your settings and options, and restores its factory default settings. It will not automatically reconnect to Wi-Fi and you'll need to set it up again.
You can find this information, plus additional information on this process here. Please let me know if you have further questions.
Best Regards,
Brad.

I just purchased a Nest Doorbell Battery and I have the same issue with both my Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G and my wife's Samsung Note 10 Plus. Low volume at the doorbell but sounds fine on the phone. I did some testing based on some comments I found about this and the volume is still lower than it should be but better when you speak directly into the bottom microphone on the phone but almost inaudible if you hold the phone away or speak into the upper microphone.
