Hi,
I am staying in Singapore and had bought the nest doorbell (battery) for my new house. I wanted to connect this doorbell though power adaptor other than using battery to save the hassle of recharging. Unfortunately the doorbell does not come with the adaptor and I know only US or some countries is selling the adaptor as separate purchase but not in Singapore. I have bought the 3rd party adaptor that says can work with nest hello doorbell but it seems that i doesn’t work with nest doorbell battery. I am wondering what went wrong here. I am sure I have connected it correctly and do the necessary set up but it only works using the battery. Below the spec of the adaptor I bought which matches the 24V requirement for the doorbell. I am stuck here and hope some expert can help me. Thanks in advance!🙏🏻🙏🏻
Output: 24V AC 500mA
Input: 120V AC 60Hz 0.2A

Hi, here you can check the official voltage requirements... i think your voltage is ok (24vac) but your power (500mA) might be too weak. Try to contact a local Google Nest PRO and see what adapters are recommended and physically available in your region.
