Nest doorbell deleted recordings

Hello,

I’ve had my doorbell for several months now, and never signed up for the subscription nor the free trial, the doorbell has always saved what seemed like about 3 hours of recordings. I often would go back and view recordings from previous days. Now every thing is deleted expect for a few recordings within the last 2 hours.
I saw some topics with people insisting that it’s only supposed to save recordings for 3 hours, but that is simply not how it worked for me for several months.
Does anyone else have the ability to view 3+ hr old recordings without the subscription?

Did we just get weirdly lucky? This sucks because I probably wouldn’t have kept the doorbell if I knew it was supposed to work like this. I specifically didn’t turn on the trial because I wanted to see if I would be happy without the subscription.

I'm pretty sure you get 30 days of the free subscription whether you ask for it or not.   If you got more than that then I'm guess it was a fluke.    You may just have to pay for the subscription.   The only other product on the market that works pretty well without a subscription is the EUFY product line.

You can definitely opt out of the free trial. I know I did because I just initiated the free trial last week.

Thanks for the tip about eufy!
