Nest doorbell in new home

Just moved into a home with a nest doorbell (wired) and I have done a factory reset but I can’t get it to connect to my App or wifi. It seems dead now.

@Tracylw

Did you press and hold the reset pin for at least 12 seconds, as described in the reset instructions, and did you get the confirmation tone?

Yes but still not connecting to my App.

I don't know what's going on.  Does it seem like the factory reset occurs, or does nothing happen?  The directions for factory resetting the 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbell say that the doorbell should be connected to the doorbell wires during the reset, but the instructions for factory resetting your 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbell don't say anything at all about it being connected to the doorbell wires.
