Nest doorbell not sending notifications

Hello. For months my doorbell has worked fine, recently it stopped sending notifications to my phone. I have fiddled with the notification settings both for the doorbell and in my S22. It started working intermittently for a while but stopped again. Tried fiddling again but to no avail. I have factory reset it and reinstalled it on my home app, but still nothing. Where do I go from here? 

When the doorbell button is pressed it will notify my Google assistant.

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that you stopped receiving notifications on your phone a few months ago. Although troubleshooting initially resolved the problem, the issue has now recurred and persists despite further troubleshooting efforts. I appreciate the troubleshooting you've done so far. I'm happy to help!

Before I begin, I need to ask you a few questions for further assistance:

  • Which Nest doorbell do you have? If you're not sure which one you have, please take a look at this article: Technical specs for Nest cameras and doorbells.
  • Do you have another Nest doorbell? If so, does this happen with the other doorbell?
  • Do you see the live feed for your Nest doorbell?
  • Do you have an Android or iOS mobile device?

In the meantime, please do the following troubleshooting steps:

  • If you have a Nest Aware subscription, I recommend you create an activity zone to get notifications. I hope this article is helpful: Set up and use Activity Zones.
  • Test on another mobile device if you get notifications for the Nest doorbell.

Check your phone notifications. Make sure the app isn't mute or turn off. I know my sound was off for some reason before. Ohh go to Google home app. Than go to settings and pick a camera. Go to notifications and see if it's turn off. Make sure push notifications are turned on
