Nest doorbell not tracking activity.

Hi,

 

My nest doorbell Gen 2 doesn't detect any activity anymore only the doorbell press works. I've got it set to people, animals and packages.

I've reset to factory settings and still the same. Any ideas what it could be?

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, is your Do not Disturb turn on? Is your Push Notification turned on? How far is it from your Wi-Fi router? Try turning your Notification settings off and on. You may also try restarting your Nest Doorbell and your Wi-Fi router and let us know how it goes.

Hi Emerson,

Barring resetting the Wi-fi router I have tried everything.

The router is about 2 meters away.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for getting back to us. To further isolate this issue, try changing the position of your Nest Camera and provide the steps you've performed to reset it. Also, what is the light status of your Nest Camera? Do you have an Activity Zone setup?
