What can I do about my nest doorbell peeling? I feel like since this started there are times when people ring the bell and it doesn’t trigger the app or chime. Do they make a replacement for the outer part? A cover? I’ve had it for several years and it’s crazy to think these should only last for a couple years before needing to be replaced. Any help would be great

Two of our Nest Hello doorbells are peeling. Google Nest says they "cannot" replace them if they are past the 1-year warranty.
We bought silicone "skins" on Amazon to cover the sharp shards.

Hi, probably the peeling off is not in the warranty as well. If you are in warranty, you can check with customer support (if you are in Europe).

Hello Emerson I am having the same issue, my doorbell is peeling. I cannot reach anyone at customer service. This is really a disappointment for me since I have all Google home equipment and this seems to be an unsolvable problem.

I actually had a chat with support today and they are sending me a refurbished doorbell. It took about an hour to get to that resolution, but we got there and I'm thrilled.

It has been over a year since I purchased. I contacted support via chat and it took over an hour and 3 different people. They kept escalating me (without my requesting it). I had to take 2 different photos, but in the end I got to a tier 3 person and they sent me a replacement. I have to send the old one back.
