My 1st gen nest hello doorbell stopped sending me notifications and seems to have stopped recognizing motion events and recording/tagging them. I can scroll through the full history and it does show, but it's not tagging any events it seems. Live view works, but only on my phone. If I view it in the browser, I just get a spinning circle (tried chrome, edge on 3 different computers).
I'm still on the grandfathered 24/7 continuous recording plan.
I've rebooted the device, routers, etc.
Is something going on with the service?

You could try contacting Support:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

I contacted the online chat and they asked for my serial number then sent me an email asking me to allow them access to my account. This seems suspicious to me. I've never had to do that before with tech support.

Same thing is happening to me, stopped logging motion activated events about 24 hours ago but still logs an event if someone rings the doorbell

Are you getting a notification when the doorbell is rung? My Google home display isn’t reacting

Same here. My Nest app just says “switch to the new Nest Aware”. No thank you! History is still available in the Google Home app so it must be an issue with the Nest App right now. Hope they fix this as I do not want to switch.

This is a terrible experience and still not fixed. The conspiracy theorist in me is that this is a way to make people upgrade so they can get rid of us who have the grandfathered 24/7 continuous plan...

It looks like they are fixing it. I now have my event history and clips but doorbell notifications are still not coming through. One thing that a time I guess
