Nest doorbell suddenly stops recording

So my nest doorbell in middle of event just stops recording. So I was in a conversation with someone and they started an argument, and to prove they actually said all that, I was hoping for my doorbell to record it. But the doorbell only recorded 3 minutes of the conversation, why did it just end rec little after 3 minutes, and for something else, it just stops randomly not just at 3 min. Is there a way to find lost rec or some something. I know it's not my recording plan, adt covers it. I was so bummed after it didn't rec everything, wondering if it's not reliable and if it's just a waste.

Google Nest's 2nd gen battery cameras and doorbells have a setting under Settings | Video called "Maximum event length" with a maximum value of 3 minutes, due to the limitations of being battery powered.

The setting says:

"Choose the maximum length for event video recordings when this camera is battery powered. Shorter event length can help extend battery life. Doorbell land emergency events will always last 3 minutes."

We have the battery camera--plugged in with the optional power cable--on a Nest Aware Plus subscription, so it records 24/7 even if an event ends. But the battery doorbell is always running on battery power even if it is wired.

"If you’ve connected your Nest Doorbell (battery) to your existing doorbell wiring, the wires don’t directly power the doorbell. Instead, the battery is trickle charged by the power that comes through the wires, and the doorbell runs off the battery charge."
