Nest doorbell wired - transformer buzzing

Hi 

I have recently installed a nest hello doorbell (wired) the product works correctly.  However , we are experiencing a loud humming/buzzing from the transformer ? Does anyone know what the likely issue is and solution?

I was wondering if the issue is simply a faulty transformer and just replace that 

Second question- can you use a 24v dc supply or does it have to be ac supply I'm using a ac supply)

No problem Brad. Looks like issue was a faulty transformer which we replaced . Still a alight hum but much better. Thanks for reaching out
