Hey Sarah13212,

Sorry to hear about your Nest Hello and also for the delayed response.

Do you still need help with this? If you do, do you see any light on your doorbell? If yes, what color is it? Also, have you ensured that your Nest or Google Home app is up to date?

I also suggest that you go through the suggested troubleshooting steps here: https://bit.ly/3jtwVN2

Keep me posted.

Best,

Melba

Yes I do still need help with this! My doorbell doesn’t have any light on it and my nest app is up to date. I have tried everything. It was working great until we had to unplug our WiFi for a couple of days and then I couldn’t get it back online after that.

Hi Sarah13212,

Thanks for these added details. If the Nest Hello doorbell does not have any light on it, it means that it is powering on. How is it getting power? Is it via a transformer or via an Indoor Power Adapter? Also, is it possible to plug this doorbell via micro USB cable to a computer then observe if it lights up?

Best,

Melba

Hi! Actually I looked and it has a blue light around where you ring the doorbell

Hi there,

Gotcha. Are other devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network online? If yes, have you tried restarting your doorbell? If you're unsure how to do that, please check on the steps here: https://bit.ly/325CkEE You might also need to restart your router as well by unplugging it from it's power source for about 2 minutes before plugging it back in.

Keep me posted.

Best,

Melba

Hi folks,

Appreciate the help @MelbaDT. Sorry to hear about that @Sara13212. Let's check this further.

A few questions — are you using the Nest Doorbell (wired) or the Nest Doorbell (battery)? Is your Nest Doorbell powered by a transformer? If so, how much voltage do you get? What is the color of the LED lights and do you still see the doorbell in the Nest app?

Keep us posted.

Regards,

Steve
