If your doorbell is less than a year old, you can contact Support (https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp) for a replacement under the 1-year warranty. Otherwise, Google Nest says it "cannot" replace it. One of our Nest Hellos started peeling, so we bought a silicone "skin" on Amazon to cover the peeling shards.
