Nest indoor camera

I have had 4 nest cameras in my home and subscribed for video history of 10 days for each camera and the cost was $5 per camera. Just recently I noticed that I am not able to view history.

Maybe your Nest Aware subscription has expired. You can check whether you have an active subscription in the Google Nest app under Settings | Nest Aware.

Your prices do not sound like the current subscription prices for any version of a Nest Aware subscription. These are the current prices:

If you have or had 1st gen Nest Aware subscriptions through Nest and have not migrated your Nest Account to a Google Accouont, I think you can also check the status here:

Hi there,

 

I'm sorry you're running into this situation with your Nest cameras.

 

In this situation, when your subscription has expired, you are not able to see the video history. Without a subscription, you can get photo snapshots of detected activity for up to 3 hours in the past. Regardless of what Nest camera you have and whether you have a subscription, you can access your camera's live video stream anytime in the app.

 

I noticed you have a 1Gen subscription when you mentioned you pay $5 per camera. If your 1Gen subscription is canceled or expired, you cannot purchase one as they are not available for sale anymore. If your account is already migrated, you can get a 2Gen subscription through the Google Store, and you can manage your Nest Aware subscription.

 

You can also check if your subscription is active under: 

  • Settings | Nest Aware in the Google Nest app
  • Settings | Subscriptions | Nest Aware in the Google Home app.
