Don't work on nest app does on google is there an Update for Nest

Almost every day another customer discovers what we discovered when we bought a new Google Nest Camera (Battery) in September 2021.  Google Nest cameras and doorbells (including the battery doorbell and camera and the floodlight camera) released starting in the fall of 2021 can be accessed ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website. Previous cameras' feeds can be viewed in the Google Home app, but their history and admin settings can ONLY be accessed in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website.

Google Nest has posted its rationale for this 2-app strategy--along with considerable customer reactions--in these posts in blogs in this forum.  Google says they're going to address the gap.
