Nest notifications (beyond doorbell) on Google Home Hub

Is there any development underway that will provide Voice Notifications on your integrated Google hub devices?

Today I had a an important package delivered that sat outside in the cold because I did not see an app notification that was burred in a sea of other notifications.  I have a Google Hub Max sitting on my desk and it would have been invaluable if it were to have notified me that it say a package delivered.
