Is your floodlight camera on a circuit with a switch where the power is being turned off?
If the power is always on, the battery should never need charging. We've had a battery camera (the same camera used in the floodlight fixture) for over 3 years--plugged in with the optional power cable--and it's never needed charging.
I believe the floodlight camera does NOT come with a charging cord, since it's always supposed to be connected to power.

I'm not sure I've been of much help.
If your camera is always connected to power, the battery should not deplete. Perhaps it's worth contacting Support to determine whether you have a defective camera that needs replacing under warranty:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

Thank you, that's what I thought also cause my other outdoor Nest cameras don't need anything lol just up there and work perfect but the fluid light one was saying that but since it warmed up outside, it hasn't sent me a message. But yes you did help, thank you again.
