In the last few months, my Nest outdoor cam is almost constantly offline. It is still receiving power, and it is about 2 metres away from the wifi router (I have fiber lines to the house, the hub is next to the window, the camera is just outside and above the window).
When I reset the router, the camera will connect, and will work find for maybe a day before going offline again. It cannot be seen either on my android phone, through the nest app, through the google home app, through the nest web-app on my PC, or the google home web-app on my PC.
My nest doorbell (wired) connects and works perfectly despite being on the opposite side of the house. Any suggestions for a permanent solution would be appreciated.

Hi Nerys, thanks for the reply. To answer your questions:
No recent changes, have been using the same hub and provider since the camera was installed
My hub works dual-band
No guest or hidden networks
When disconnected, it pulses slowly white
There's nothing nearby that has changed since it was installed, furthermore the doorbell on the other side of the house doesn't have issues.
The outdoor cam at my back garden goes offline for days at a time, or when working intermittently will drop for roughly 50% of the time, no real pattern to it.
The ring doorbell at my front door occasionally drops for 10/15 minutes, once every few days,

Hello Impy5,
Thanks for your reply.
I appreciate all the information you were able to share, as this gets us closer to figuring out what is causing your camera to drop off your network. Since you've mentioned one of your doorbells dropping off every other time, I want to know: Is your router only able to provide you with a 2.4GHz connection? If your router broadcasts both 2.4GHz and 5GHz in different networks, do they have the same password?
I suggest, if possible, of course, to switch your router to use 2.4GHz only and monitor your camera for the next few days to check if the drops continue. If you have either a WiFi extender or a WiFi point for a mesh network, try testing it while connected to the router directly.
Feel free to follow this article on how to Restart or factory reset Nest camera or doorbell as well. Just take note that if you choose to perform a factory reset after a restart, your camera will lose any recorded footage, so make sure to back it up before doing a factory reset.
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Angel.
