Nest wired camera not factory resetting

We had a power cut today which is common and not usually a problem.  This time the camera is not connecting so I tried restart and the factory reset (more than once, plus unplugging) but even after fifteen, twenty seconds it is still flashing amber.

Any assist appreciated

You might want to try the factory reset again, holding the reset button down longer; sometimes it's a challenge to get a successful factory reset. See the instructions here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9252162

A status light that is quickly blinking yellow is supposed to mean the camera is going through its countdown to the factory reset.

A status light that is slowly blinking yellow is supposed to mean you're getting incorrect wattage from your power adapter.

Thank you. I tried again for a minute, it is the slow flashing amber light and the power cut was due to smart meter installation, I am wondering if the are connected.

I reset it recently for new WiFi and it was not an issue

So I swapped out the adapter with my Chromecast one and now they both work!
