I bought a Nest camera doorbell and when I went to install it realized the previous owner had replaced doorbell with a wireless one. Is there anyway to make the Nest work with the wireless chime already in my home ?
The Google Nest Hello Doorbell does not have any way of communicating with a 3rd-party wireless chime, and the Nest Hello has to be wired to a doorbell transformer to provide power for its camera. If the doorbell IS wired, you can use a Nest Hub or Nest Mini as a wireless chime by turning on "Visitor announcements" in the doorbell's settings in the Google Nest app.
