I'm trying to setup a new outdoor nest cam, it will go to the last step (updating) and then shows "there may be a problem" without any code.
Already restarted, tried a new home, used manual code instead of QR code, but still getting the same error on all 3 cameras.
Please help..

The customer on this post who encountered the "there may be a problem" error when installing there Google Nest Doorbell (Battery) resolved it by returning it for a new one:
Maybe Support can help you resolve the issue or replace your cameras:

Hey there,
I am terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue with your Nest camera! I'm sure it's frustrating but I'm happy to look into this and see how we can help out. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to Restart your device. By doing this, it should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.
Best regards,
Brad

The customer already reported that they restarted their three cameras, tried a new home, and tried using the Setup Code instead of the QR code, and is still not able to perform the initial setup on all three cameras.

As per chat with support team, I supposed to return the cameras.
However I bought them from eBay (brand new - sealed), and seller is not responding.

Is it possible the seller was selling a bad batch of cameras they got at a discount somewhere? Google Nest isn't making the Google Nest Outdoor Camera anymore and since the new cameras work only in the Google Home app, there's a real demand for these older cameras. Maybe you can use eBay's appeal process for returning a defective product.

Still waiting for eBay to reply...
I wonder if there is any nest/google service center in Australia?
