My nest doorbell peeling off, contacted customer care. No solution offered, instead asked me to buy another one. Why such a slouch service for google products?

My Nest camera hasn’t been used for a few months. When I restart Nest it informs me that the camera is connected to another account. I bought 2 cameras new. It also suggests i ask the previous owner to delete them from their account.I can’t set it up...
