New Google Floodlight cams not supported by nest app

Why does Google not enable its latest wired cameras to be accessed via the nest app. I understand battery ones are unable to because they are not live, 24/7

All of the newer cams released in 2021 are only compatible with the Google Home app. Super unfortunate. I agree with you 100%. The Nest app is the way to go.

I will still need help while Google stops their latest cameras being compatible with the Nest app. Google Home is not very user friendly nor does it work seemlessly .

I understand. The new Nest Cameras are exclusive to the Google Home app, so you can only control and manage this device using this app. While we don’t have any news to share about integrating them to the Nest app, we’re always looking for ways to improve and we’ll take this as feedback.
