New google nest wireless cam will not setup through nest app, it directs me to google home, home sen

Tried addong through nest with qr and with setup codes, nothing, then nest sends me to google home app i select add device, enter info, and ho.e tells me to use nest!!!

same here today, just got the Nest Cam wired. It's setup with my HOME app, then I went to Nest Aare to add it but it tells me to set it up with Home app even though it's already in the Home App. there's no place to go to Nest Aware to add a place and add the camera.
