Your last update, v5.70.0.9, is causing the blue spinner to appear on the main screen of the Nest app. However, when I tap on the doorbell cam, the live feed works, which means there doesn't appear to be any connectivity issues. The live feed works fine with the Google Home App as well. I also noticed that I'm unable to set an activity zone, which may be related to this issue.
I was able to find and install the previous version, v5.69.1.3, which works fine.
With the previous version, everything works fine.

I am having the same issue. The main screen of the Nest app on my android (galaxy s9+) phone shows all cameras as black with the blue spinning circle. Clicking on any takes me straight to the live feed with no issues, the desktop app shows all camera feeds fine on the home page, further ruling out a connectivity issue. Reinstalling the app on my phone did not solve the issue.

I uninstalled the app and downloaded the previous version, v5.69.1.3, from apkmirror.com. There's clearly a bug with the latest version. I'm not sure how it passed QA since the issue is the first thing you see when launching the app.

I have the se problem on Samsung S21. I'll go and download the old version. But I shouldn't have to. You're telling me the Nest app obviously wasn't tested before it went out. Thanks

Been seeing many reports of issues with the latest update. The last time something like this occurred with the Nest app, it took almost 90 days for a fix to be sent. So now those on the latest version will need to wait.
I’ve stopped updating the Nest app until I see very issues being posted. Version 5.69.0.3 (iOS) is stable but 5.70.0 is definitely messy.

It appears that this issue has been resolved by 5.70.1.2 on 12/14/2022. I just updated to confirm that this is no longer an issue with the latest release.
It would be nice if the developers updated the contact email when clicking the Developer Contact button in the Google Play store. The email listed is #; however, when I attempted to notify the developers about the issue, I received a response indicating that the email is no being monitored and was invalid. I tried to find a proper way to contact, but this community forum seems to be the only way.
The responses from the community specialists are rather nonsense as they don't provide feedback or information in regards to the resolution. I just so happened to discover today that the issue was resolved and that a new version was deployed two weeks ago. It would've been nice if someone had informed the rest of us here about the fix.
I'm also a software developer and understand how important communication is. It's rather ridiculous to see a lazy comment under What's new that merely states:
Bug fixes and enhancements
Seriously, c'mon now guys. You make the big bucks. Your salary is a lot higher than mine. I'm pretty sure it isn't that difficult to be just a tad bit more verbose than that. You could literally even copy and paste whatever you have in your changelog/release notes; unless of course you don't even have that. If not, then I'd hate to see what your commit history looks like.
