Requiring Google home is one thing, requiring you purchase aware to be able to see previous event is another...but to not be able to download or share clips from previous camera activity is unacceptable.
There is NO download option on previously recorded clips.

I wasn't clicking on event details. I was on the screen where you can review the different motions etc. Thank you

Google Nest's online instructions for downloading clips are inaccurate.
In the Google Home app, select your camera, then click on the "History" button at the bottom of the screen, then click on "Full History", then select an event, then click on the "More" icon (the three dots in the upper right corner). The select "Save clip to device".
Unfortunately, in the Google Home app, you can only save detected and recorded events. You cannot manually edit a clip as you can in the Google Nest app.

Thank you for providing some feedback on the online instructions! I will see about sending this into the teams who can get this corrected.
Best regards,
Brad
