No events

I have 6 cameras and pay for 24/7 60 days recording. My 1 camera keeps showing no events.  I reset , unplugged, deleted and re added and still the same any ideas ? Been going on for months

Hi there,

 

I am sorry to hear that your other cameras aren't showing recordings. I would feel just as frustrated if these were my cameras. Lemme look into this further for you. 

  • Are you sure that all of your cameras are connected to the same Home/structure?
  • Have you tried to Factory Reset all of your cameras and set them back up on the same email/account?
  • What other troubleshooting steps have you done besides what you said here?

No I did not reset all cameras. I did reset this one by deleting camera and adding it. Is there another way to factory reset it.  Parts of the video say no events and if I play the video before it says no events it does play through the no events. But I cannot scroll to the nonevents as it’s black.

Everytime you remove a camera off of your Home, it removes the Video history and events. Removing it will not help in this case. You will not be able to get any past clips as they are permanently deleted. Even though it wasn't showing events before, it definitely will not now until there is an event. Also please verify that you are connected to the correct account/email, with a Nest Aware subscription on that account/email.

Yes it’s all in one account i have 6 cameras on one account . Even though it says no events if I play before it switches to no events it actually shows the stream with no breaks .
