No notifications from Nest App on one phone (but not the other)

I have had the Nest Hello video doorbell installed for approximately 3 years. Sometime in the past few months, notifications stopped coming to my device when the camera recognized somebody or if the doorbell was rung. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and all additional notification features to make sure permissions are granted, notifications are on, and none have been silenced. There are 0 notifications coming from the Nest App on my phone. Meanwhile, my wife is getting notifications from the same camera just fine. I can view the video feed on the Nest App, so I know that's not an issue. I tried physically disconnecting the camera and reinstalling it, no luck. Our phones are the exact same model of Pixel 8 Pro. The only thing I know I haven't tried yet, and really would prefer not to, is removing the camera as it says it will delete my video history and familiar faces. Please help!

Hello,   I'm an end user like you. I believe you are running into a known problem with the alerts for nest on android.  Google is working on it.  However here is a possible work around that might fix it....

  1. On the device, open the Settings app.
  2. Tap System and then Languages and then Regional preferences.
  3. Set each sub-setting such as Temperature and First day of week to the "Use default" option.
  4. Close and re-open the Nest app.

Let me know if this works.
