No updates in months regarding when Nest Cam IQ will be fully supported in Google Home Web and App

Why has there been no progress at all on Nest Cam IQ?
These cameras force me to use the old Nest App because Google Home only supports live view and that is it.  

Please provide an update.  This is making me angry how many years this is taking for Google to address this gaping hole in support.

It has been *10* years since Google acquired Nest and still these older cameras do not have full functionality in Google Home.  We've been told for years they are working on it but the progress is beyond slow.  It feels like at the pace they are going all these older devices will probably fail before they get migrated to Google Home.
