None working cameras on Google app

Looking at this forum, I’m apparently meant to have been contacted about having a useless camera that soon will not be supported having been told to access via Google 

today it won’t open on the app at all

BT advise it’s a Nest issue…

Perhaps you should consider contacting Support, using the link and instructions in the post below:

It's not clear what camera you are taking about, or what you mean by "meant to have been contacted about having a useless camera that soon will not be supported", so it's hard for other customers to make suggestions on what to do.

If you are referring to the fact that Google Nest is discontinuing support for the older Dropcams in April 2024, see this Google Nest blog post:

@Beyondfedupof, we're sorry to hear about that, but thanks for letting us know about this. A few questions:

 

  1. What type of Nest Camera do you have?
  2. What app is it currently connected? Google Home app or Nest app?
  3. What’s the color of the LED status light?
  4. How far is the device from the router?
  5. Can you connect to the internet with other devices?
  6. Are there any other devices that experience issues with the Wi-Fi?
  7. Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the device you want to pair? Those devices could interfere with the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal.
  8. Does the app shows any code or message by any chance?
