Not getting Alexa notifications

I have a 2nd gen wired doorbell cam and I am not getting motion announcements on Alexa.

100% sure all my settings correct. Partner connection is set up, events and notifications are on in the Home app, motion announcements are tured on in the Alexa app.

I know that the connection is working because doorbell presses are announced on Alexa. However, no motion announcements are made by Echo devices. This is a necessary function and if I can't get it to work the doorbell will be returned. This worked perfectly with an ancient Ring doorbell and I'll gladly go back to that if this doesn't work.

I’d suggest visiting Amazon's website for help with Alexa, including its connection to Nest products. You might need to toggle permissions for the Nest skill or disable the skill, then re-enable it. Amazon's website has step-by-step instructions and additional troubleshooting suggestions:
