Old Wired Doorbell Left of front Door

I want to use the wired doorbell as we only live in this house part time and having to recharge every 4 or so months will be very inconvenient.    The issue is the old doorbell wiring is not on the same wall as the front door.  Instead it is on the sidewall of the entry and down fairly low - waist level.   

Anyone have any experience if the included mount and the field of view for the doorbell camera will work?  Does anyone know of a different type of mount that may be more suitable?

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this, as I can imagine it has been an inconvenience. I would love to look into this further for you. You should be able to move the wiring up, but that may end with drilling a new location, etc. but if you use the mount that comes with the doorbell, that would be our recommendation. If you need to use the available wedge, then use that as well. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
