Opening Google Home App from Nest Doorbell (battery) notification

When I watch the Google YouTube video of the Nest Doorbell (battery) demonstration, the user gets a notification that the doorbell has been rung, presses the screen on the notification and it goes straight into the Home app to talk etc. When I press the notification on my screen (Pixel 8 Pro), the notification disappears and the Home app is not opened. What am I doing wrong that the Home app does not open when I press the notification ?

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. Try reinstalling your Google Home app and Google Search app to make sure you have the latest version. Keeping apps updated on your users’ devices gives them access to the latest features, while also improving app security and stability.
