Our camera is displaying a "white wash" picture. How do I make the picture darker?

Do you by any chance have "Night vision" set to "Always on"? If so, set it to "Auto".

Try unplugging the power to the camera for about 60 seconds and then power it back up. That has worked for me in the past. However if you have a newer Gen 2 camera that has a battery this probably won't help.
