Outdoor nest camera

I have an outdoor Nest IQ camera that is permanently zoomed in. Unplugging it and plugging it back in doesn't fix the issue. The camera also won't load on the google home app. Close up tracking is off as well. Any help would be appreciated.

No, the camera isn't zoomed in. The close up tracking is off. It's like permanently zoomed in half way.

Thanks for posting in the community. 
It seems there might be a software glitch causing your Nest IQ camera's zoom and tracking issues. To resolve this, I recommend performing a factory reset. This will bring the camera back to its original settings and should help address the problem.
To factory reset your camera:

 

  1. Press and hold your camera's reset button with the paperclip or thumbtack. When the light ring starts spinning blue, release the button. Your camera's lights will turn off while it's resetting.
  2. The factory reset is complete when your camera chimes and the light ring starts slowly pulsing blue.
  3. Once the reset is finished, you'll need to set up the camera again through the Nest app.
