Outdoor wired camera will not record at night. All instructions followed, still will not record.

The new outdoor wired camera will not record at night.  I followed all instructions, but it still will not record at night.  It records fine during the day.  I see other folks have the same issue on the forum; it seems Google has the problem, and it should be resolved.  I am very frustrated and ready to change to another brand. This is a security camera and must work at night for safety reasons.

• What's the nighttime lighting like around the camera? Is it completely dark, or is there some light from streetlights, porch lights, etc.?

• Did you set up any specific recording schedules or activity zones for this camera in the Google Home app?

• Have you checked the camera's settings in the Google Home app for any options related to night vision or low-light conditions? What do those settings show?

• Are you able to view a live feed from the camera at night within the Google Home app?

• Can you estimate around what time the camera stops recording during the night?

• Have you noticed if the camera goes offline in the Google Home app at any point during the night?
