Overpriced Cameras

swytizzy92

Purchased over $500 in cameras to find out that the "Nest" cameras do not work with the nest app.  Also, I'm unable to view the cameras in a browser.  Why would Google take this basic functionality away.  Very disappointed and considering returning all the cameras.

Why in the $#*&^$# would I want half of my cameras to be on the home app and half to be on the nest app?!?!?!

DO NOT BUY GOOGLE CAMERAS, THEY DONT GIVE A FECAL ABOUT YOUR FRUSTRATUIONS.

We discovered the same thing when we bought a Google Nest Camera (Battery) 18 months ago.

The "preview"/beta home.google.com website does let us livestream all cameras--old and new--in a browser. I have no idea whether they'll add to it the functionality already present on the home.nest.com website.

Hi everyone,

@swytizzy92, thanks for posting here in the Community. We understand your concern about why the new Nest Cameras and Nest Doorbells are not available or can't be controlled in the Nest app. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I'd suggest you send feedback about your concern using this form to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this. Please let me know if you have other questions or concerns as I will be locking this after 24 hours. Feel free to start a new thread and we'll be happy to help.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Regards,

Emerson
