Please discontinue "Low device temperature" warning message added for the battery camera in Jan 2023

In September 2021 we bought a battery camera along with an optional power cable. It's been plugged in and live ever since.

In January 2023, Google Nest added a new warning message in a Google Home app update: "Low device temperature - Front Yard - This device may have reduced battery life if it is very cold." At the time, there were many reports being posted in this forum about poor battery life in cold weather. In response, Google Nest added the warning message and added this topic to its online help:

https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/11830989

This morning, when the temperature here in Minnesota reached 12 degrees Fahrenheit, we again got this warning message.

The warning message is useless. This has been reported to Google Nest repeatedly, but the message continues to be broadcast.

1) There is nothing a customer can do about it.

2) It does not apply to our plugged-in camera.

3) In Minnesota and other cold weather climates where Google Nest sells its battery camera, 12 degrees Fahrenheit is NOT "very cold".

Rather than broadcasting this useless and inapplicable message all winter long, perhaps Google Nest should instead add the following warning message to the outside of the packaging for the battery camera:

Warning: If you are going to operate your camera on battery power, note the following (from the Help topic above):

"At temperatures between -4°F (-20°C) and 32°F (0°C), the battery can still power your device, but it won’t charge. It may also drain more quickly than usual. At temperatures close to -4°F (-20°C), your battery may have less than half the life that it has in warm weather."

This is an earlier post on this issue, from Jan. 26, 2023:

Please, Google Nest, drop this useless message.

This is definitely proof of how much google cares about customers and their products. It's been an issue forever and they still won't fix it.

I've submitted feedback, as I've done so before.

I have as well and the notifications have only gotten worse!
