Quick video scrubbing in google home

I am finally switching to google home but there's no way to quickly scrub the continuous footage. I have a nest aware account and pay for continuous footage. I used to being able to look back 15 or 30 seconds if I hear something outside. Now I cant, I can only view live or events that google classifies. I need to be able to scrub back continuously and not just "events".

Hi Nickolaus,  Do you mean you are switching to the Google Home app instead of Nest?   You are going to want to keep using the Nest app as there are MANY features we know and love in the Nest app that have not yet been moved over to the Google Home app.  Googles says they are "coming in 2022" but so far mostly nothing has appeared.

Well Im adding a newer indoor camera to my system and I'm worried that it won't work in the old nest app. I really don't understand why Google bought nest 8 years ago and has done nothing but try and push everyone over to google home that limits the ability of the cameras that I've owned since 2017.

There is a massive number of people that have been posting on this  thread for   8+ months that are all asking the same question.  I would suggest avoiding the Google Home app completely when it comes to the Nest Cameras and purchasing a used (Gen 1) camera from someone on eBay.  I have done this twice and been very happy.    Hope this helps.
