Help, someone please! I recently upgraded my router. Our Google floodlight cam is hard wired into the house. In order to add it back to the app, I need the set up code. However, to get set up code I would have to climb a ladder and uninstall the camera. On what planet does this make sense !?? Google has been completely useless. Basically told me that was my only option since I threw out the box. So now my $300 is completely useless. Anyone have any suggestions?

@Jenie021

Google Nest wants us to depend on having saved the QR Code sticker on the front of the camera, saving it with our Quick Start Guide.

Long ago, we resorted to writing down the Setup Codes for our cameras and doorbells so we wouldn't have to unmount them if we needed to reinstall. It's too bad the install instructions don't tell customers to do this.

To add insult to injury, I have to pay someone to come and do it. Google could not care less.

Thanks for responding. Next time, I will be sure to buy Ring products.
