Brad , have tried to reset camera after a power outage . Using directions and code (6DG98T) on back of camera . Didn’t work . 7 hours away from camera

Thank you for the clarification! Are you seeing any lights or activity on the camera? When you attempt to reset the camera, are you seeing it respond at all to the reset? What other troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Brad, I am 310 miles from the camera and  cannot observe what it is doing. Can I reset it remotely?

I am afraid there is no such option for a remote reset. It would have to be done manually on the device. Sorry for this inconvenience, but do you have someone who could manually reset the device for you?

No, I was not because you said I cannot reset the camera remotely. The camera is 7 hrs. Away. This is a major flaw in your product in that the camera was bought for security purposes in a remote area!!!

Hey Aelock12,

I know how you feel about this as I'm a user myself but as much as we’d love to, we wouldn't be able to reset your camera to its default settings if you’re not physically present where the camera is installed. Or someone you can ask to do it for you. Let us know when you get home or if there’s someone who you can ask for help so we can further assist you. Keep us posted.

@Aelock12 how's it going with your Nest camera? I agree with what JT suggested you to do. If possible, have someone go there physically and restart or reset your Nest camera. In case you have an update, you know where to find us.
