Replacement Policy for a Peeling Nest Doorbell

I would like to understand if the replacement policy for peeling Nest Hellos that are not under warranty anymore has changed. I have been told a month ago that no replacement was being offered and would like to understand if this is still true. Please confirm and do not open a case for me if it is not supported.
