Replacement parts for cameras

Today I went to hang up a brand Nest outdoor cam that's been in a closet (in its original box) for a couple years. Unfortunately, it is missing the magnet that allows us to mount it. Searched all over the internet, and EVERY SINGLE offbrand mount also requires this magnet. No one offers a replacement magnet, including Nest.  Without it, the camera is rendered useless. 

I reached out to Nest support, and after getting transferred to a  'senior specialist' named Pedro who used a. lot of scripted responses, he disconnected the chat on me--  But not before advising they can't do a thing since the camera is out of warranty. Not even an option to purchase! They told me "go back to the store I got it from and ask them to look for the magnet" despite knowing it's two years old. They also advised I can contact 'authorized stores to purchase the mounting kit' which is a flat out lie. 

Single handedly the most unprofessional interaction I've had in a while,  and I'm rethinking using Nest products in my second home now. Has anyone else gotten any kind of help with getting replacement parts out of warranty?! I can't even imagine if we moved and didn't take the mounts with us--we'd be screwed!

Everyone still needs help with this issue because it’s impossible to resolve. Google refuses to solve any issues. Why can’t we just go somewhere on line and buy the parts that are missing from these kits. My camera is useless because one of a set of 2 is missing the magnetic seat the camera sits in. Im ready to toss all my google nest products as there is zero customer service . They are disposal junk products and this company is too big to care. I’ve had to return 8 of the 12 smoke detectors I recently purchased. The quality of nest products seriously deteriorated when Google took over. Many of my older products only lasted 18-20 months before failing. What complete garbage. Terrible for consumers. It’s fraud and also pollution to be throwing away all this useless plastic when Google could do easily solve these issue.I’m certain you’ll just delete this post because Google is rotten  big brother tech

I need two AC adapter output: 5V DC, 1.4A for my outdoor nest cameras.  Have tried all sorts of retail stores to get them.  Talked yesterday to Google HD and they indicated they do not support their nest products and I needed to go to retail outlets to find my part.   Circle is now complete. Cameras still needs AC Adapter in order to work.  Can’t find any.  Google - What a poor customer support company.
