I was able to turn in my old DropCam cameras for the newer Nest Cam 2nd Gen indoor camera. When I had my Dropcam I could schedule it to turn off at 8:00 and go back on at 11:00. It was a very nice feature for me. The new Nest Cam doesn't have this feature.
Does anyone have a workaround to get something like this to work?
I went into Routines and can't find an action that will allow me to do anything with cameras. l would like to make single camera go on and off at a specific time.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks

There is no workaround unfortunately, Google simply doesn't support that kind of feature anymore. They are security devices, so are designed to be always on. Nonetheless, I’d encourage you to also send this feedback directly to Google. You will not receive a response, unless Google need more details from you, however the team are still reading the feedback.
