Setting up nest door bell and cameras

I have set up my nest doorbell and nest cameras. I would like to share it with my partner.

My question is will she only have access to the feed from the cameras? The direction made it sound like she would have access to my contact and email?

Hello,  The way I understand it the answer is no.   What the directions were referring to is that anyone you SHARE will have full access to the cameras including changing the settings, adding/removing cameras and the ability to view ALL cameras.   Your partner will need their own GMAIL account.  It will not work with email accounts other than GMAIL.

Thanks for the info. Does this include both the nest app and Google home? 

Yes, however to the best of my knowledge you have to add (invite) the family member using the Google Home app. Then on their phone the nest app will be able to see the cameras as well (But I'm not 100%).  

Keep in mind if you need help you can open a support ticket and speak with an actual Google Tech person that should be able to walk you thru the process. Here is the link to get the process started...

If you get it going it would be great if you could return here and give some details.  I'm sure it will help other people trying to do that same thing.

@newusernow thanks for posting and It's really good to know that you're interested in the restrictions when you added someone in your Nest App or Google Home App. To avoid confusion, Is your account already migrated? How about your wife's account?.
