So Nest fired their engineers and is a scamming service now?

4 weeks later from this post and somehow, things have gotten even worse!

I've paid my subscription since I originally got it in March of 2020.

I tried talking through the intercom feature and after my first sentence, the camera feed cut and continuously buffered. I obviously still cannot access the "5-day video history" nor any videos. Just screenshots of "events" because that is very useful when half of them don't even capture the person.

So before one of the contributors or "specialists" replies with basic troubleshooting steps, just know I did everything I can reasonably do without being a Google Engineer or replacing the device, which more than likely isn't going to help because based on the number of similar complaints, this is software, not hardware.

My suggestion is instead of wasting your time farming kudos or hoping for an accepted solution on here, forward this to whatever team is still in charge of development for Nest products, should that even exist at this point.

If this doesn't get resolved soon, I'm going to be replacing this and eliminating my two-and-change year journey with Nest as the company hires incompetent phone support and this forum which should be a way to get to actual Google employees is a complete joke and shows how broken these products are all in the name of some meaningless firmware updates. It worked fine a while ago, but somehow, Google's team found a way to break it.
