Battery camera is plugged in. Does not record sound only. It only records a sound if there is movement. It’s plugged in.

We've had a battery camera for 20 months. Unlike our older Google Nest cameras and doorbells, the battery camera only offers sound detection for carbon monoxide alarms and smoke alarms (under Settings | Events | Heard events), so we don't even use it. Our camera does record sound, and since we have a Nest Aware Plus (24/7) subscription, we can hear sound in our video history. If you have a Nest Aware (event history only) subscription, your camera would only record sound as part of a "Seen event" unless you enabled detection of carbon monoxide alarm or smoke alarm sounds.
